Iceland, the last of the travel pictures

Iceland Landscape

Here they are, the last handful of my Summer 2015 travel pictures. Iceland is a wildly beautiful place. I don’t think pictures can truly do it justice. And I think that’s why my photography definitely slowed down here. Sometimes attempts to capture these places feel inadequate, so I just leave the lens cap on. We lucked upon a sunny, mostly warm day for our Reykjavik Excursions Golden Circle Tour, seeing geysers, Gullfoss Waterfall (pictured above), and parts of Þingvellir National Park (pictured below). The tour was a stressless way to see some of the major sites, which was a nice break. I do regret not renting a car, though, and getting more out into the wild in Iceland. That’s on the to-do list next time we visit.
