The Station wins a Spider
I am extraordinarily honored to announce that “The Station” has won 3rd Place – Honor of Distinction in the Fashion category in the 2014 Black & White Spider Awards. Many thanks to those terrific souls who helped make this photograph possible!
The awards international Jury included captains of the industry from The Royal Photographic Society, FoMu Fotomuseum, Aeroplastics Contemporary, Torch Gallery, Stockholm City Museum to Fratelli Alinari in Florence who honored Spider Fellows with 298 coveted title awards and 957 nominees in 14 categories.
“It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the 8,508 entries from 73 countries that we received this year,” said Basil O’Brien, the awards Creative Director. “Tennille’s “The Station,” an exceptional image entered in the Fashion category, represents black and white photography at its finest, and we’re pleased to present her with the title of 3rd Place – Honor of Distinction.”
