Day 331: Windy at the Top

Today’s shot was taken with my phone, since I didn’t have my big girl camera with me. I know, gasp…scowl….the horror! Meh, I was running. I couldn’t risk tripping and crushing my Canon, nor could I afford to lose it over the ledge. This bridge is officially known as the McTeer Bridge but to us Beaufortonians it will probably always be known as the “new bridge,” even though it was built almost 40 years ago. It offers a lovely walking/running path, with scenic views of the Beaufort River and marshy inlets around Cane and Cat Islands.
