Day 330: Beaufort Skyline

I had a lovely dinner out with some high school girlfriends of mine, and I stole away for a little while before heading back to my mom’s and dad’s to take a shot of the Beaufort skyline. I have little to no experience with night photography, but I’ve really been wanting to give it a try. And I’ll tell you, the experience, alone, made it well worth it. This shot was taken off the edge of old bridge remnants. It was pitch black out where I was, except for the lights of the cars passing over a nearby bridge. As I fumbled to set up my tripod and camera in the dark, two porpoises snuck up beside me to spout air and dive back into the water.
