Day 289: Deconstructed Photograph

Just a few of the things that go into some of my photos. Unfortunately, my favorite umbrella and flash were needed to catch the shot. How’d I take this if my camera’s in it, you say? A good friend did a girl a solid and lent me a second camera, which is awesome because it’s a step up from what I normally shoot with. :-) Thanks Nic. Your cam is in safe hands for the next couple of weeks.

Camera Specs:
4 sec @ f/9, 20mm, ISO 100

Light Specs:
Flash: 1 Canon 430 EXII @ 1/2
Modifiers: 36″ promaster shoot through umbrella
Placement: ~ 1 ft right of, ~1ft above, and flush with subject, angled down
Triggering Device: Cowboy Studio Triggers
Other: 100 lumens LED flashlight held over light bulb while shutter was open
