Day 287: Deconstructed Apple Pie
Well, my 30 days of anything but me project ended yesterday, and frankly, today I didn’t know what to do with myself. I thought I’d give the deconstructed pie idea a spin, since some of you seemed to appreciate the mini version a couple of days ago. And, so here it is. I’d also gotten some flack on the type of pie I’d alluded to in the previous shot, cherry, so I corrected it in this, as rumor has it apple is king. Plus, the apples added a nice punch of color. I originally wanted to use the exact amount of ingredients it would take to make the pie/crust, but sadly, I didn’t have enough butter. I know! The horror!
