Day 235: Smoke Gets in Your Eyes

25/30 of 30 Days of Music

Inspired by “Smoke Gets in Your Eyes.” The Platters’ version is my favorite:

This one was a little trickier than I first thought. I wanted a catch light in the eye and started trying to hold up a mirror flush with the camera. This ended up bouncing too much light. So I went with just the flash, which I guess gave me a catchlight from light bouncing off of the lens itself? I’ll have to investigate this more.
