Day 170: Romance
Another Barbie and Ken shot for today. This one has been bouncing around in the idea queue for a while now. The trick of this one was lighting it like I wanted, since I only have one flash. The set-up is obviously in a doll house. I put the flash in a room to the left of the one pictured and aimed it at the ceiling of that room to soften the light flowing through the doorway. To the right of the highchair about 10 inches or so is a sheet of tin foil for bouncing the flash back onto Barbie’s right side. Ken and his bouquet surprise are lit with window light reflected by a mirror.
