Day 160: Apples in Glass Bowl
Something about the light hitting these apples caught my eye this afternoon. It felt very Raphaelian. Even then, I only saw it slightly when looking at them with my eyes. It wasn’t until looking through the camera that I could really see it. And even more exciting and lovely to me was the possibility that I could emphasize it and capture even more of what I wanted to see via manipulating my camera settings. I felt like a light sculptor. I know; I know. It’s just a bowl of apples, and if I had my thinking cap on, I’d probably critique something about it. But today, I just enjoyed it. Many thanks to those of you who’ve called me out lately on misfocusing (pun entirely intended).
