Day 154: Rubber Ducky, I’m Awfully Fond of You

I’ve been wanting to shoot this ducky for a while now. He has a bit of a lazy eye, which I find amusing. A cardboard “Bear Condo” the girls got on a recent trip to Build-A-Bear provided his framing.  I’ve posted a set-up shot below.  What may not be obvious in the set-up is that there are two heart cut outs in the box (1 in front, 1 in back).

Camera Specs:
1/160 sec @ f/9, 50mm, ISO 400

Light Specs:
Flash: 1 Canon 430 EXII @ 1/4
Modifiers: Rogue Flashbender rolled into snoot; tissue diffuser
Placement: ~ 1 ft above the top of the frame, 1/2 aimed into box and 1/2 aimed onto back red poster board
Triggering Device: Cowboy Studio triggers
