Day 147: Don’t Forget Your Mask, Sugar
I love the simplicity of this little mask, but I gotta tell ya, it looks hideous on. Maybe it’s the way it conforms to your face or how small the eye holes are…I dunno. I like its look, though, and really wanted to incorporate it into a shot. I thought a reflection would be fun, but I didn’t want a direct one. That would be too obvious. I wanted something with a twist. Enter my kitchen table, the star model in many of my shots. I was happy with the outcome. I’d have liked the reflection just a little bit sharper, but overall, it’s pretty close to my visualization. Oh and evidently, my subconscious is stuck on ISO 400 because I refuse to remember to change it back to 100. Sigh.
