Day 94: Reflect

This is shot no. 12 in my Stage-Free Shooting challenge. This one reminded me of my childhood today, as I spent many an hour at my piano. They were good hours and are fond memories. My oldest daughter is now taking piano lessons, and she, too, spends hours at her piano. I hope she feels a little of that same magic when she’s grown.  There’s no special lighting in this one; it’s all natural (large windows camera left and a glass door camera right).  I tried blocking off the light from the glass door and replacing it with a strobe but couldn’t quite get the lighting right.  I was either getting too many hot spots or too bright a ceiling.  So, I just went with the natural light.
