Day 81: Another Dream Deferred
This is shot no. 28 in the Literary Series. It was inspired by Langston Hughes’ “Harlem,” in which he asks “what happens to a dream deferred?” Check it out here. Today’s shot is not specific to Hughes’ poem but an alternate idea of what happens to dreams. Here they become bottled (by others or ourselves), some of them with more room to breathe than others. But inevitably, if we leave them bottled they’ll extinguish themselves. This one is just a straightforward shot; no strobes or special processing.
