Day 55: There are things in that paper…

365-Day 55, a photo by t.goff on Flickr.

This is shot No. 3 in the Literary Series. Today’s shot is from Charlotte Gillman’s short story “The Yellow Wallpaper.” Click here to read the story. It’s only day 3 of this cursed series, and I’m already going batty. Maybe I need a new approach. I feel severely underpropped and underskilled where editing is concerned, but I trudge on. I am especially disappointed in how my “distressed” wallpaper turned out.  I’m doing this to learn, I’m doing this to learn, I’m doing this to learn…

Shot Specs:
1/60 sec @ f/3.5, 18mm, ISO 200, Canon 480 EXII @ 1/64 in a 10″x14″ softbox

How I did it: It’s a composite shot, obviously. The chair, window, toys, and floor are in the main shot. The yellow paper is another. My strobe is on the floor, camera left at a 45 degree angle.
